Sharon L. Johnson, 74, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 28, 2026.Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Peter and June (Whary) Eby. Sharon grew up in the Ferndale area of Coal Township and attended Coal Township schools.Sharon was a very hard worker all her life. She was employed by Ashland Shirt Factory / Gitman Company for many years and also worked at Hollywood Pizza in Mount Carmel. She was married on August 23, 1980, to the love of her life, Robert Johnson of Girardville. She was the second oldest of ten children.Besides being a hard worker and loving wife, Sharon was a great mother to her two children, Eva Bendas and her fiancé David Becker of Kulpmont, and Stephen Bendas, along with his daughter Harley Bendas of Kulpmont.Always having a smile on her face and a kind word to say, Sharon…
