Carol Anne Martin age 72 of Pottsville PA passed away Sunday May 10th 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Pottsville PA on December 6 1953 she was the daughter of the late John W. and Clara E. Schoffstall Smith. Carol was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School Class of 1971 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years Randall R. Martin Sr. in 2016 brothers John and Charles Smith and brotherinlaw Charles Tobias. Born on January 20 1948 in Pottsville he was a son of the late Karl Sr. and Madelyn L Wendling Witmer. Dean was a heliport Supply Specialist at Fort Indiantown Gap for 33 years and then worked for the Lebanon County 911 Center for 17 years creating the maps for the city. He was a member of the Tulpehocken Rifle and Pistol Club Pine Grove. He loved nature especially flowers and gardening and was a music lover and enjoying playing his coronet. She was a 2021 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and received a Certificate in Grooming from Cindys Canine Companions Salon and School in Bethel.
