George Pete Rodnick Jr. 84 formerly of Minersville passed away Sunday August 16 at Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Pete was born in Pottsville Pa. on November 8 1941 son of the late Josephine Gawrys and George Rodnick. He was a graduate of Minersville High School after which he served our nation in the United States Army on active duty from 1960 to 1962. He was an iconic face in Minersville as the owner of the WynnAnn Restaurant for several decades making meals for loyal patrons. He could be seen cooking breakfasts and bantering with the customers at the counter. The restaurant was known for Thursday spaghetti dinners and fish and macaroni and cheese on Fridays. He was a pillar of the community who shall be dearly missed by all who knew him. Pete is survived by his brother Joseph Rodnick four daughters Josephine Sipes Ron Savitsky Wynnell…
