Glenn David Black 76 of Mayfield entered peacefully into eternal rest on February 13th 2026. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife the former Jean Ann Yakmovitz. Born in 1949 at Chelsea Naval Hospital in Chelsea MA Glenn was the eldest of five children to the late Ervin and Rita Hebert Black. He grew up in Salem MA until his family relocated to Jermyn PA where he would later meet the love of his life and best friend Jean Ann Yakmovitz. Glenn was a proud veteran of the United States Army who dutifully served his country during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.
