Francis Gardus

Born in Carbondale son of Francis X. Gardus Carbondale and the late Roberta Sanderson Gardus he was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Carbondale. He was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School Class of 1975. Prior to his retirement he was employed as maintenance man at the Carbondale Area School District. He was previously employed by Stafursky Paving as a concrete finisher. Fran always lived his life to the fullest making friends with everyone he came across. He loved spending time walking his dog Buddy and taking him for a ride in the truck. He loved cooking and going out with his friends to all the local restaurants. Most of all Fran loved spending time with all of his kids and doing anything they asked of him. The family would like to thank Andy Gorel and Jerry Tregaskis for all of their help when Fran needed…
