Born to the late John and Violet Cushey Wicks June 10 1943. Ron graduated from Peters Twp HS in 1961. Ron joined the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He owned and operated Rons Auto Service in Monongahela for many years. Ron enjoyed his motorcycle traveling the country tending to his plants and spending time enjoying his many friends. Ron was a lifetime member of the VFW American Legion Hackett Club. Member of Hoot Owls Victory Hill Social Hall Haymakers. Ron also enjoyed spending time with his family and his late companion Jackie Slogan her daughter Chessi. Ron leaves behind his children son Ron Wicks daughters Alisa Denny Rucker of Finleyville Michelle Brashear Tim of Smithfield and Debbie Kevin Huffman of Finleyville. He was a life member of the Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department and former borough councilman in Finleyville.
