Guy E. “Bud” Bonelli, 90, of Kiski Township, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, in his home.Bud was born in Westmoreland County and worked as a coalminer for the Local Union #1412 through the United Mine Workers, retiring in 1998.He attended various churches and enjoyed gardening, going to auctions and yard sales, raising cattle, coaching Little League, spending time with his grandkids, and going to church camp.Bud was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Kenneth, and David Bonelli; and his sister, Margaret Tandaric.Bud is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dora E. Gerald W. “Jerry” Leech, 85, of Washington Township, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 in Quality Life Services – Apollo, PA.Born on January 24, 1941 in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Alonzo & Evelyn (Nyegard) Leech.Jerry was a 1959 graduate of Ken High. Jerry also served our country with the United States Navy – being a member for 37 years.Jerry was employed by ALCOA as a technician before retiring from that position in 1997. He then worked as a consultant for the company until 2003.Jerry was a life member of the VFW Post #92 in Lower Burrell, had memberships at the American Legion in Florida, and was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church.Jerry enjoyed spending time in Melbourne, Florida, especially with his wife, Jean. David N. Nickens 83 of Murrysville passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. A son of the late Nestor and Annie Nickens David was born in New York City in 1942. He was raised on the south Bronx where he graduated from Fordham University with a BS degree in Physics in 1963. Upon graduation he went to work for the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin Pennsylvania. There he served as an engineer then engineering manager engaged in the design and development of nuclear reactors for U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers. He also served as a Westinghouse Minority Spokesperson appearing on television radio and newspapers in several cities to encourage young minority students to study and enter the technology professions. In 1985 he earned an MBA degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh. He retired from the Bettis Laboratory in 2002…
