BLAIS NORMAND R. 56 of Maple Root Village in Coventry passed away at Hope Hospice in Providence on Friday October 9 2026. Born in Warwick RI he was a son of Diane Kabbaze Blais of Coventry and the late Normand Roy Blais. Normand attended Western Coventry Elementary School where he played organized football for several years. He was a 1988 graduate of Coventry High School. Normand was employed for over 25 years with Amtrak before retiring. Growing up in western Coventry Normand had a keen love of his natural surroundings. He enjoyed caring for animals especially his pet cats as well as hunting and fishing with his father. Normand had an interest in all types of sports. Besides his mother Normand leaves a son Ryan Blais and a nephew Brett N. Blais. He was predeceased by his brother Shawn D. Blais in 2018. Per Normands request services will be private.…

Jean Bainter

Jean M. Bainter 70 of Lane 5 Coventry RI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday October 10 2026. Born on January 11 1956 in Providence she was the daughter of the late George and Muriel Lord Carberry. Jean worked for many years as a selfemployed massage therapist a role that reflected her caring nature and the comfort she offered to others. She cherished time spent with her family especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Jean enjoyed arts and crafts cooking gardening and the companionship of her beloved chihuahuas. She is survived by her son Bryan J. Bainter and his wife Samantha her grandchildren Hailey Tefft and Zayden Bainter and a loving friend Kathy Kushner. She was predeceased by her son Robert Bainter.
