Jacobo Parejo of Central Falls passed away at the age of 90 on April 1 2026. He was the husband of the late Aurora Parejo who passed away August 10 2025. Mr. Parejo was born in Barranquilla Colombia on December 30 1935. Through a tough childhood Jacobo developed great resolve and a strong character. After arriving in the United States in 1980 with his wife Mr. Parejo became employed as a longtime machine operator for Carroll Cable in Pawtucket. Jacobo was a great man a fine husband and a proud father grandfather and great grandfather. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Services are under the care and direction of the Chares Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.

Born on August 12 1943 he was the son of the late Glenn Herbert Nicoll and Virginia B. Miller. He was raised in Warwick by Glenn and his stepmother Virginia T Nicoll and graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. His first job was in the Art Department at the Outlet Company. Glenn became a commercial artist with Albertson Studio and had an impressive portfolio. While living on Benefit Street he knew the art community in Providence very well. He enjoyed traveling and touring Europe and his summers at Roy Carpenters Beach in Matunuck. He made frequent trips to the Brimfield CT antique shows collecting vintage metal dog doorstops and the work of local artists. Glenn enjoyed gourmet cooking at home and always brought special dishes for guests to appreciate.He loved his dogs all large and walking the East Side and in Swan Point Cemetery. Victoria S. Greig "Vicki" 94 a lifelong resident of Providence passed peacefully on March 30 2026 at HopeHealth Hospice Center of Providence. Vicki was the youngest daughter of the late Antonio and Victoria Souza Moniz. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Greig sharing 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2006. She was also predeceased by her sister Antoinette Moniz. Vicki worked as a switchboard operator for New England Telephone and Telegraph Company and later American Telephone and Telegraph ATT. She retired in 1989. She was a proud member of IBEW Local 2323 and remained a member in good standing paying dues throughout her retirement. She remained deeply committed to organized labor throughout her life. Her dedication to preserving history led her to involvement with the Rhode Island Labor History Society where she served as both a lifetime member and board member. In recognition of her…
