Mrs. Wilma Jean Spear

Mrs. Wilma Jean Spear, 87, of North Augusta, SC, widow of James Cecil Spear, entered into rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026.Born, raised, and educated in Charleston, WV, she came to the CSRA over fifty years ago. She worked at various places in the area, most notably Quality Printing.Jean was a member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church, Graniteville, SC. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Animals, namely felines, held a very special place in her heart.Surviving Jean are her children, Ronald Spears, Janice Spear, and Shawn Spear, siblings, Bonnie Hughes and Barbara Harvey, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Jean had requested that no services be held.Given her love of animals, particularly felines, it has been suggested that memorials in her memory be made to Friends of North Augusta Animals.
