Mr. Ashley Dean Cates, 43, of North Augusta, SC, husband of Tammie Nicole Cates (Covar), entered into rest on Thursday, July 2, 2026, while in the comfort of his home under the care of Pruitt Hospice.Born in Augusta, GA, he is the son of the late Rickey Dean Cates and the late Joyce Ann Simmons (Norman). Ashley had lived in the CSRA and Ft Lauderdale, Florida all of his life. Mr. James David Horne, age 77, of Aiken, SC, entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2026 at his home under the kind and tender care of Trinity Home Health and Hospice. James had recently moved from the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia following recent illness. He was a devoted follower of Christ and read his Bible daily.Jim was born on May 23, 1949 in Roanoke and lived in Botetourt County, Virginia. He had many jobs in his life including with Norfork & Western, Christian Broadcast Network, and several churches for audiovisual freelance work in Tidewater.
