Richard Lee Hudnut 75 of Summerville SC husband of Sharon Hudnut passed away Saturday October 10 2026 at his residence. Funeral Services will be Thursday October 15 2026 at 12 noon in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 oclock until the time of service in the chapel. Flowers are accepted. Richard was born March 25 1951 in Quincy IL the son of the late Ray Hudnut Jr. and Juanita Swanson. He worked in Maintenance and Receiving at the Navy Yard and also worked for Dorchester District II. He honorably served in the United States Marines. In addition to his wife Sharon of Summerville SC Richard leaves behind his son Timothy Hudson Hudnut of Summerville SC daughters Christine Hudson and Tarah Hudnut both of Summerville SC brother Mike Hudnut of Rockford IL sister Carol Plantz Rick also of Rockford IL…
