She was born on February 7 1961 in Prosperity South Carolina to the late James Lawson and Betty Joyce Boatwright Snipes. Brenda was a BatesburgLeesville High School graduate Class of 1979. She worked for Lexington Medical Center of over 20 years in the insurance billing department. Brenda enjoyed traveling especially to the mountains and site seeing. She always took pictures making sure she captured every special moment. Brenda loved going out to eat and shopping. Spending time with her family was her ultimate joy. Brenda was also a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church. She was a special soul and will be missed by all who knew her. Betty had a career as an office manager with Allied Chemical for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth R. McQuatters brothers James and Merell and sisters Marlene and Mildred. Surviving include her four children Brenda Billy Oswald Sam Stan and Skip three grandchildren Erin McQuatters William McQuatters and Jamie Oswald. Her physical body is gone but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched during her long and fruitful life. Betty requested no memorial service.
