Per Cathys wishes she will be laid to rest at Kings Mountain Preserve in Blacksburg SC in a green burial on Saturday August 29 2026. A memorial service celebrating Cathys life will be held at Kings Mountain Preserve 321 Indian Springs Rd Blacksburg SC 29702 at 1000 AM that same day. John Francis Luke

Born October 2 1943 in Cloquet Minnesota John was the first son of Raymond and Edna Luke. He grew up in Cloquet and met his wife Bonnie Haislip in high school. They graduated in 1960 and married. After graduating and getting married John enlisted in the Air Force where he became familiar with the electrical system of B52 bombers. Four years later he entered civilian life and realized there wasnt a lot of demand for B52 electrical system technicians. So he used his G.I. benefits to learn computer programming at a vocational college in Duluth Minnesota. For the next 50 years he implemented timephased inventory control programs for major corporations internationally. John will be remembered for his steadfast character and his dry wit. Mr. Willie Lee Wilson passed away August 7 2026 at his home. Born May 15 1951 in Chester County SC he was a son of the late Lee Wilson Jr. and Macie Shannon Wilson. Willie attended Jefferson School in York County. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a longtime member of Langrum Branch Baptist Church in York SC. Willie worked for 15 years at American Thread but his favorite work was being a Panthers and Atlanta Braves fan.
