Funeral services for Mary K. Lutter 72 of Chamberlain SD will be 1000 a.m. Thursday April 2 2026 at St. Margarets Catholic Church in Kimball SD. Rosary and visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date. Mary Katherine Kollman was born on October 28 1953 in St. Cloud Minnesota to Francis G. and Virginia G. Berger Kollman. She completed both her elementary and secondary education in St. Cloud before relocating to Mitchell South Dakota where she attended Dakota Wesleyan University and earned a degree in accounting. In Mitchell she met Deneil Lutter and they were married on August 26 1978. The couple lived in Mitchell for several years then relocated to Yankton where Mary worked as an accountant at Gurneys Seed. Over the years they moved to various citiesincluding Creston Iowa Peculiar Missouri Florida Alabama and Beloit Kansasand eventually returned…

Wake services will be 700 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mato Akicita Gymnasium in Fort Thompson. Cecil Stephen Farmer 62 of Fort Thompson was born August 18 1963 to Dorothy Spider and Cecil Farmer in Chamberlain SD. Cecil rode off on his journey on March 27 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls SD with his family by his side. Cecil worked various jobs for the CCST but was most dedicated to the Crow Creek Ambulance Service as an EMT for years. He loved helping the community and saving lives through his years as an EMT.
