Elaine A. Moke 95 went to her heavenly home on Wednesday April 1 2026 at Avera Bormann Manor in Parkston. A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 7 at 1030 a.m. with visitation beginning at 930 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church at Hillside. Arrangements are by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston. Elaine was born on August 5 1930 on a farm west of Parkston to Otto and Lydia Schulz Sperlich. She was the oldest of two daughters her younger sister Edna joined the family five years later. Elaine grew up on the farm and attended country school through the eighth grade. She then remained at home to help care for her younger sister and assist with household responsibilities. Elaine met her husband Otto Moke at a dance and the two were married a year later on June 27 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Their union was blessed…
