Martha Jean Richie, 87, of Hixson, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026.Martha worked as a bookkeeper for an automobile company for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed selling items on eBay and going to yard sales. Born on April 28, 1940, in Morristown, NJ, Jim lived a full and meaningful life marked by devotion to his family, dedication to his profession, a deep love for the outdoors, and loyal friendships that blessed many people throughout his life.Jim attended The McCallie School. Admiral Farragut Academy, and the University of Tennessee. A licensed pilot, he enjoyed flying single engine airplanes, along with his lifelong passions for golf, fishing, and hunting. His favorite place to be was on his cabin on Lake Chickamauga, where he found great joy in the beauty of the outdoors and in time spent with family and friends.
