Mrs. Betty Ruth Smith Cope age 84 passed away on Monday October 12 2026 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Ruth was the daughter of Arlie and Edna Lucille Walker Smith. She was a factory worker and in her later years she worked as a cook for the Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation. She was a devoted member of Star Point Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Cope and a son Terry Lynn Smith. She is survived by 1 son Timmy Ralph Cope 2 daughters Brenda Clark Tim Glenda Whitlock Roger 1 sister Ruby Smith 7 brothers Tom Smith Margaret L.C Smith Kathy Roger Smith Hilda David Smith Rhonda Michael Smith Ray Smith Wayne Smith and 1 granddaughter Jessica Clark.
