William Stokes

William graduated from Whitwell High School in 1952. He later retired from Combustion after 32 years of dedicated service and was a proud member of the Boilermakers Union. He also honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy Evelyn Carpenter Stokes and his parents Walter and Viola Stokes brother Howard Stokes of Jasper sister Mary Louise Coffman of Whitwell. Those left to cherish his memories are his three children Rickey Denise Stokes of Jasper Tamara Randall Worley of Whitwell and Jacqueline Wes Thompson of Jasper six grandchildren Jarrad Zane Ashley Tarrah Jason Brooke Ryan Michelle and Trey Taylor and greatgrandchildren Cole Hannah Jarran Jentree Heidi Griffin Draven and Sophie.
