Born in Abingdon, Virginia, Patty is the daughter of the late RC and Thelma Louise (Holbrook) Meade. She was a woman of extraordinary strength, kindness, and selflessness. Patty devoted her life to caring for those she loved, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who raised her children and grandchildren with love, strength, and unwavering dedication. She also spent years caring for her husband with a love and devotion that reflected the very best of who she was.
