Mrs. Scarborough was born on January 9 1947 in Brownwood Texas to the late David Clinton Green and Etta Lorraine McAlphine Green and died Tuesday May 12 2026 in Lufkin. Mrs. Scarborough was a loving mother and grandmother. Spending time with family making amazing memories was one of her favorite things to do. Iona enjoyed dressing up going out to dinner with her husband and listening to her favorite band at Tia Juanitas Fish Camp. She also took great pleasure in hanging out with her best friends and neighbors Nelda and Johnny. Some of her favorite hobbies were listening to local bands shopping and crocheting.
