Rebecca Dian McGinnis known to many as Becky and affectionately as Sweetheart passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior on March 31 2026. She was born August 4 1936 in Abilene Texas and was raised in Galveston Texas. Becky delighted in family and faith. She was blessed with a devoted husband of 71 years James Jim McGinnis and together they raised five children James Jr. Terri Michael E. Marilyn David W. Lori Martin L. Karla and their daughter Patricia Patti who preceded her in death on April 4 2021. Beckys family circle included 18 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren. She lovingly remembered and was predeceased by her grandson Marc McGinnis June 2003. For many years Becky served Skyline Baptist Church as secretary a role she warmly called her ministry.
