Betty Nix age 93 of Texarkana Arkansas died Tuesday October 13 2026. Betty was born February 25 1933 in Texarkana. She was an employee of the Four States Fair and spent over 50 years with the fair association and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bobby Nix son William grandson William Jr great grandson Dustin Perkins. She is survived by her daughter Danette Perkins five grandchildren Lisa Garner and husband Paul Robert Perkins Jr and wife Wendy Trey Hawkins and wife Emily Anderia and Rachel. Glenda Frances Snook, age 82, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2026, at her home in New Boston, Texas, leaving behind her earthly journey to begin her next chapter.Glenda was born on March 12, 1944, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to Floyd Frances Reynolds and Vivian Louise Rawlinson Reynolds. In 1964, she married Herman Lyle Snook, beginning a lifetime of love, family, and cherished memories.Glenda lived a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion. She worked as a teacher’s aide for 30 years with West Covina Unified School District in West Covina, California. She also served on the Orangewood Little League board for seven years. A woman of the Catholic faith, Glenda dedicated herself to helping others and caring for the people around her.She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, and reading books.
