John Andrew Faust 81 known to many as Big John or Farmer John passed away peacefully on March 29 2026 at the age of 81 in Humble Texas under the compassionate care of Gracious Hearts Personal Care Home. He was a longtime resident of Richards Texas where he lived with his wife Faye CollinsFaust. Visitation with the family and friends will take place Thursday April 9th from 500 to 700 p.m. at St. Stanislas Kostka Catholic Church 1511 Hwy 90 in Anderson. A Knights of Columbus rosary will follow at 700 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrdated 1000 a.m. Friday April 10th at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church with Msgr. Adam S. McClosky as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Cemetery. John was born on October 7 1944 in Rockford Illinois to Joseph and Catherine Faust. Arlen Lee Steele Sr. 72 of Anderson passed away on March 22 2026 at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan Texas surrounded by family. Graveside services and inurnment will be 1100 a.m. Satruday April 11th in the Martins Prairie Cemetery CR 175 in Keith. Arlen graduated M.B. Smiley High School in Houston Texas and began his career at Kmart where he held various managerial roles. After that he worked on barges in Houston Texas. In 1988 he began his career at Trinity Industries in Navasota where he retired after 30 years as an industrial engineermaintenance supervisor. Arlen met his wife Debbie at Kmart and it was love at first sight.
