Rodger Dale Thomason, age 78, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on January 29, 2026. Rodger was a graduate of Bloomburg High School, Bloomburg, Texas, and Texas A&M University, Commerce, Texas. He served in the Texas Army National Guard and Army Reserve.Rodger is preceded in death by his parents, Blanche Thomason Selman and J.M. Thomason, brothers, James Ray Thomason and Charles Thomason, and a sister, Phyllis Yarger. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Connie, of Hot Springs Village; son, Ross Thomason of Texarkana, Texas; and daughter, Kristen Woods of Texarkana, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah Withers (Hunter) of Lindale, Texas, Sam Woods of Texarkana, Texas, and Elizabeth Riddle of Irving, Texas; great-grandsons, Grayson Withers and Carson Withers both of Lindale, Texas.
