Brenda Kaye South Hood a resident of Sanger Texas died on February 6th 2026 in Denton at the age of 73. Born in Rotan Texas on July 20 1952 she was the daughter of Lee Roy and Audry Inata Disotell South. Brenda graduated from Ector High School and later earned her associate degree from North Central Texas College. She worked as an assembly worker for Victor E. assembling gas torches. Her faith played a central role in her life and she deeply valued her service at Victory Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Being around children always brought her great joy. She also treasured the companionship of her beloved pets her dog Nyx and two cats Scooter and Bandit.
