Mary Margaret "Maggie" Trentham Tankersley 96 of Fredericksburg Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Lufkin Texas on March 22 2026. Maggie was born on February 19 1930 in Durham North Carolina the fifth of six children to Shannon Otis Trentham and Ina Davis Rankin Trentham. She was raised in Mars Hill North Carolina and Jackson Tennessee where her vibrant personality was evident from an early age. In school Maggie was both accomplished and adored. She served as editor of the school yearbook and played basketball earning recognition on AllTournament and AllAmerican teams. Known by the nickname "Twelve Point Trentham" and "Legs" she was also voted most friendly and Cutest of the Senior Class titles she carried proudly. Chris aka "Tino" "Chrissy Poo" as most of us knew and loved him as well as "Angel Cake" by his mom was raised in Comfort and then moved on to San Antonio a couple of years ago. Chris was born in Fredericksburg Texas on June 13 1980 to Pete and Carmen Martinez of Comfort Texas. Chris was a 1998 graduate of Comfort High School and worked for the last 16 years at SEnergy formerly Schneider Engineering as a Sr. Field Designer in Boerne Texas. He loved his work family and it is obvious how that love was reciprocated. Chris had a passion for life of guitar playing fishing kayaking loved the Astros and his most recent passion was taking on an active role of helping his bonus son Jacob Carlos in the game of baseball.
