Karen Ilene Magee Massey passed away October 13 2026 at Buckner Westminster Place in Longview Texas. Karen was born on November 14 1943 in Longview Texas to Sarah and Curtis Magee. Karen was the younger sister of Bill Magee. She graduated from Pine Tree High School and studied art at Kilgore College. She was a loving mother grandmother and greatgrandmother whose creativity and sense of humor brought joy to those around her. Karen was the mother of two children. In October of 1989 she married Donald Massey welcoming three stepchildren into her family. She was a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren and a greatgrandmother to four. She especially cherished time with her three granddaughters sharing her artistic and culinary talents laughter and love.
