Judy Ann Edwards Meeks passed away at home in Liberty Hill, Texas, surrounded by her loving family, on October 10, 2026, after an extensive battle with colon cancer. Born on July 28, 1946, to Joe and Joan Edwards in Matador, Texas, Judy was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and source of inspiration to all who knew her.This last battle with cancer was not Judy’s only battle with cancer. Twenty-three years ago, Judy previously won a courageous and grueling fight with stage 4 cervical cancer and breast cancer at the same time. During her current battle with stage 4 colon cancer, Judy was determined to wage war on cancer again and win. Although the outcome wasn't what she hoped for, her journey once again showed the strength, resilience, and determination she carried throughout her life.
