Ina Graduated Utopia High school where she was a cheerleader Homecoming Queen and on the Basketball team. She shared many stories with friends and family of her adventures traveling to other cities to play games. This is where she met a charming fellow named Homer Waite a Yankee from Orchard Park New York. They married in 1958 and were married 54 years when the Lord called Homer home. Ina was saddened not to be able to have children but true to her pioneer upbringing she made a way and adopted 2 children Krista in 1963 and Michael in 1965. She went to nursing school after the kids were a bit older and worked as a cardiactelemetry nurse for over 20 years. No doubt making a difference in 100s of lives and surely saving quite a few.
