Michael was born on January 23 1944 in Saint Charles Missouri. After graduating from high school in Joplin Missouri he proudly served in the National Guard before beginning a lifelong career in masonry. He started his career as a bricklayer and later became a masonry contractor. He worked alongside his mother and brother in the family business Lacy Masonry Inc. for many years. Michael was proud of the commercial buildings he helped build throughout San Antonio and the surrounding area. Michael married Lucretia Ann Pieper Lacy and together they shared 60 years of marriage while raising their family. He was known for his hard work his quick sense of humor and his love of sports. He enjoyed deepsea fishing golfing grilling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was always ready with a joke and enjoyed making others smile.
