Stephen Howard Eshelman 81 of Phoenix Arizona passed away Wednesday July 29 2026. Graveside services will be 1000 a.m. Friday August 7 at the Dawson Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Jerod Casey officiating. Stephen was born August 3 1944 to Mary Evelyn Rockhold and Frederick Hayes Eshelman in Parkersburg West Virginia. As a very young boy he moved with his Mother and Stepfather Charles Lee Childers to San Diego California. Stephen graduated from Crawford High School in 1964. He enjoyed sports and played baseball and football. He had many friends from his school days that were still dear friends at his death. He had a wide range of jobs throughout his working life ranging from paper boy to Firefighter at El Cajon Ca. Fire Department to Assistant Fire Chief on Wake Island to Cat Supply Design building cat furniture to working at American Airlines as a ramp agent. Stephen worked up…

Linda June Gunn passed away peacefully on July 28 2026 surrounded by her loving family in Denton Texas. Born in Dallas Texas on November 1 1941 to the late B.B. and Evelyn Gunn Linda was a woman of remarkable strength fierce independence and deep devotion. Raised in Dallas Linda built a life centered on hard work and family. As a single mother and dedicated career woman she worked tirelessly to provide a beautiful life for herself and her son. Her independent spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her. After a fulfilling career Linda retired in 1999 and moved to Dawson Texas where she embraced a slower pace of life filled with the things she loved most.
