He was born on June 1, 1973, in Lima, Ohio, to Judith Bergman and Jeff Hardeman.Chris was a beloved father, son, brother, soon-to-be grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his service in the United States Navy, as well as for his humor, kindness, strength, and selflessness. His time serving our country was an important part of his life, reflecting his willingness to serve something greater than himself. His service is a legacy his family will always be proud of.
