Rita Dolores Hawkins was born in Dallas TX. on September 16th 1933 to Lillie Marconi and Ada Middleton and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday May 7th 2026 at the age of 92. Rita was the patriarch of the family that she loved unconditionally. Her home always had an open door and she was always there to listen give advice or help in any way she could. Her tender heart compassion and grace was felt by anyone who knew her. To know her was to love her. Besides spending her days with family Rita loved being in nature and admiring the beauty of Gods creation. One of her favorite places was her lake house in Bob Sandlin where many weekends with kids and grandchildren were spent. Memories made that will last a lifetime.
