It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Davila, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 67 in Boerne, Texas.David was born on April 28th, 1959, in Alice, Texas to Olga and Gilbert Davila. He was a husband, partner, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who brought laughter, kindness, strength, and guidance to anyone who knew him.He worked in the Refining field for 47 years. He was known for his sense of humor, work ethic, faith, and love for his family.David enjoyed sports, music, movies, and exercise and especially loved barbecuing and Pickle ball. Some of his happiest moments were spent spending time with family and loved ones, playing sports, trying new things, and traveling.He is survived by his partner, Cathie Garcia; children: David Beau Davila and Jamie Ofelia Bechtelheimer; grandchildren: Miles Bechtelheimer and Arthur Lee Davila; brother, Michael Norton.
