He was born at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital and raised in Waco Texas before moving to Pearland where he was raised. Jay was a retired truck driver house mover oil fielder devoted husband to his wife Amy Jewell of 24 years and a father. He was known for his humor friendship a hard worker steady hand and being family oriented. His life was defined by service loyalty and the kind of help that didnt need to be asked for.
