He went on to build a long and successful career managing and supervising dozens of Anthonys retail stores in the West Texas Area where his warmth and personable nature left a lasting impression on employees and customers alike. A lifelong learner Al especially enjoyed reading and in his later years developed a strong interest in neuroscience.
