Velma Lea Bohanan 94 passed away April 2 2026 into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ at Advance Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Bowie Texas following several years battling dementia. Velma was born on January 4 1932 in Alexandria Louisiana to Joseph and Lucinda Clark. She met her husband James Bohanan Sr. and the couple were married April 1952. Besides being a military spouse and raising one son she loved to garden. She worked as a secretary to different military offices. Spending her days off with her dogs was her joy. She cherished every moment spent with her husband on different deployments. She is survived by her son James Bohanan Jr. of Wichita Falls TX grandchildren in California and greatgrandchildren in Tennessee. No services are planned.
