Helen Ruth Thompson Chancellor 92 was born on June 8 1934 in Bowie Texas and passed away peacefully on Monday June 29 2026 with her daughter Carrie and granddaughter Taylor by her side. Helen attended Bowie High School where she was a member of the band and graduated in 1951. After graduating high school she worked at the Montague County Clerks Office before marrying Charles Chancellor in August of 1954. Once married they moved to Dallas and had three children Cathy Michael and Carrie. She enjoyed traveling while making memories with family and friends. She retired in 1997 from Oncor Company and enjoyed spending time with her new granddaughter born in November of that year. She attended church throughout her life. Helen always said that her faith in God got her through the loss of her first child Cathy in 1977 and her son Michael in 2015. Helen is survived…
