Marolyn was born on April 22 1933 in Houston TX to A.F. and Marie Jamail and was the youngest of ten children all who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Incarnate Word Academy in Houston. She married her beloved husband Lowell Thies at the age of 20 and they lived in the Houston area where they raised their two daughters Marie and Louise.
