Michael was born on January 7 1951 in Corpus Christi Texas where he was raised and remained a lifelong resident. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School and went on to build a life rooted in dedication to his family career and community. On December 10 1977 he married the love of his life Carolyn Jean Parsons at Parkdale Baptist Church in Corpus Christi. Together they built a strong and loving family. Michael devoted 36 years of service to the Corpus Christi Fire Department where he had a proud and honorable career in firefighting. He was known not only for his commitment to his work but also for his strong presence and camaraderie among his fellow firefighters.
