Dorothy Belle Dot Skiles born on January 9 1938 passed away on June 26 2026 in Burleson Texas. Born and raised in Valdosta Georgia Dot moved to Orange Texas in 1967 where she became a longtime devoted and active member of First Baptist Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life evident in her dedication to teaching Sunday School throughout her entire time at First Baptist. She also shared her talents in the church choir and served in various other roles within the church community. In 2019 Dot moved to Burleson to be closer to family where she became a member of First Baptist Church Burleson. Dot was an avid reader finding particular joy in the Bible and historical Christian fiction. Josephine Marie Schulte Walter 84 of Carrollton and formerly of Orange passed away on Monday June 29th at home with her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 20th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange at 1000am. Officiating will be Father Sinclair. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be from 500 to 700pm on Sunday July 19th at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with a Rosary beginning at 700pm. For friends and caregivers in North Texas unable to attend the visitation and funeral mass in Orange there will be a memorial mass and luncheon at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 1100am on July 22nd in Carrollton TX.
