Shirley Mae Erwin Donnell was born on January 21 1934 in Claude Texas to Frank Erwin and Violet Triplett Erwin. She passed away on March 29 2026 in Hemphill Texas at the age of 91. A cherished member of the community Shirley spent much of her life in Canyon Texas where she worked diligently as a legal secretary before retiring. She earned a bachelors degree from West Texas AM University and was well known for her faith intelligence professionalism and strong work ethic. Shirley shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband Charles Pete Donnell who preceded her in death. Their life together was filled with love and adventure especially during their retirement years when they traveled extensively and enjoyed time in Eagle Nest New Mexico and Port Isabel Texas.
