Sulema was born on July 24 1960 in Sinton Texas to Andrea Gonzales and Juan Sonny Villa. She attended Sinton schools and eventually made being a doting mother a lifelong career. She was a loving daughter mother grandmother sister aunt and friend. She was cherished by all who knew her. Sulema was known for her outspoken nature her devoted heart and her love of family always treasuring the time she spent with those she loved most. Sulema is survived by sons Patrick Maldonado Jr. Kendra and Eric Maldonado all from Sinton Texas her cherished grandchild Daniel Villarreal her brother John Villa from Sinton Texas her sister Sally Trevino from Dickinson Texas her husband Patrick Maldonado from Sinton Texas nephews and nieces Paul Trevino Lee Trevino Skyler Villa Jaden Villa Layla Villa Mariah Flores Joe Castillo Clarissa Castillo and numerous extended family members and friends. Maria known affectionately as Mary was born February 2 1936 in San Diego Texas to Abel and Juanita Lopez Elizalde. She currently made Sinton her home but lived previously in Taft. Maria was a loving wife mother grandmother and sister. Maria was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a familiar friendly face when she worked Shoppers World and Kroger many years ago. Maria later worked for the San Patricio County Restitution Center before deciding she wanted to enjoy her latter years. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Genovevo G. Cruz Sr. daughters Andrea Cruz and Lupita Paiz sisters Minerva Elizalde and Juanita E. Garza brothers Abel A Elizalde Jr Raulito Elizalde Roy Elizalde and Frank Elizalde and her niece Lilly.
