Sinton Alfredo M. Fred Garza passed away peacefully on May 14 2026 at his home in Sinton Texas surrounded by the love of his family. He was 83. Fred was born on July 22 1942 in Beeville Texas to Victoria Marin and Felipe Garza. He spent much of his life in Angleton and Three Rivers before settling in Sinton. Wherever he lived Fred built lasting friendships and was known for his warm heart generous spirit and unwavering devotion to those he loved. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated nearly 20 years of service as a chemical plant operator for Amoco Chemical Corporation. He also served as Vice Commander of the American Legion in Angleton where he remained committed to supporting fellow veterans and his community.
