Originally from Cason Texas Charles affectionately nicknamed Old Boy by some family members was preceded by his beloved wife Joyce Ann as well as his parents Archie and Eddie M. Boyd. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Willie McGill Gracie Mae Boyd Helen A. Ross Joyce Ann Grant and Aleanor Gaston along with his brothers Eddie Archie and Lee Phil Boyd. He is survived by his sister Gwendolyn Willie Davis his brother James Ray Boyd his stepchildren Theresa Fredia and Darren and numerous nieces nephews and extended family members.
