Teresa Arce 91 devoted daughter beloved sister aunt and educator passed away peacefully on February 12 2026 surrounded by her family. Teresa dedicated her life to education. She was known to teach with a firm but loving hand. Teresa began her career at St. Peters Parochial school and followed the Salesian sisters to her alma mater Mary Help of Christians school. She was so proud of being an integral part of a great team of early childhood educators. Teresa was a gifted teacher who taught all her "kids" to read and more importantly the love of books. She often bragged that she taught most of Laredo how to read. She was always so proud of her expupils and their accomplishments. Teresa was a twin to her beloved sister Cecilia Minerva.
