A small graveside service will be held in Marlow Oklahoma with her two sons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunns Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Laverne was born on December 24 1925 to Elmer and Hettie Gray in Marlow Oklahoma. She graduated from Marlow High School in 1943 and married Bill Palmer in 1945 in Oklahoma City. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2007. Laverne was preceded in death by her parents her husband Bill in August 2007 two brothers Floyd Gray and Cleston Buddy Gray one sister Deola Gray and one granddaughter Bethany Jo Palmer Loftis. Laverne had been a member of First Baptist Church since 1971. She was very active in the Hannah Sunday School class. Louise Lellanie Dibble 99 went home to be with the Lord on Friday February 13 2026 in Wichita Falls Texas. She passed away peacefully in the loving care of Hospice of Wichita Falls. Louise was born in Wortham Texas to the late Jordan Alexander and Mary Dawson Alexander on September 16 1926. She was the youngest of ten children. She attended the Wortham Public Schools and graduated from Prairie View AM University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in May 1948. She did further study at Bishop College and Midwestern State University. Louise married John Horace Dibble on October 11 1952 in Corsicana Texas. Louise and John moved to Wichita Falls in 1958. They were married for sixtyseven years until his death on June 14 2020.Louise Dibble was a retired teacher with the Wichita Falls Independent School District WFISD. She was born on September 25 1944 in Dallas TX and lived a life devoted to her family faith and the people she loved so dearly. Visitation will be Wednesday February 18 from 68 pm at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
