Mary Elizabeth Callahan OFallon 82 of Clifton Forge Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 11 2026 at LewisGale Hospital Alleghany in Low Moor. Mary was born October 19 1943 in Ayer Massachusetts to the late Edward and Beatrice Callahan. She dedicated many years of her life to serving as an Instructional Assistant in South Carolina Public Schools. She had a special gift for helping elementary students learn to read and found great joy in watching young minds grow and flourish. Mary found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader loved a good game of BINGO and rarely passed up a word puzzle. She especially enjoyed coloring pictures to share with friends and family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald OFallon two sisters Claudia Knott and Patty Williams and two granddaughters Torie and Lauren. She is survived…
