Jacqueline Kay Shifflett, 66, of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at the University of Virginia Hospital.Jacqueline was born on August 9, 1959 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Eva Shifflett.She leaves behind her beloved significant other, Robert Woods, and her daughter Tiffany Woods. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Junior Shifflett and Janice Shifflett, along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.Jacqueline dedicated many years of her life working at Hampton Inn and later at Albemarle Health and Rehabilitation, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. Lillie Mae Johnson Cooke, 90, of Charlottesville, Va. died on March 27, 2026, at Hospice of the Piedmont Hospice House.Born November 16, 1935, in Charlottesville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles Blakemon Johnson, Sr. and Edith Lucille Bingler Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harry Douglas Cooke, Jr. and her brother, Charles Blakemon Johnson Jr.Mrs. Cooke was a long-time member of Cherry Avenue Christian Church. Her life a testament to God’s love and grace and a gift to all who knew her. She was Past Matron of Queen Esther Chapter No. 14, Order of the Eastern Star, and Past President of the Doe Club, Elks Lodge #389.She is survived by two sons, H.
